We were delighted to be recently asked by Mayo North East, based in Foxford, County Mayo, to help them with artwork for their annual SICAP Awards. The SICAP awards are a collaborative effort between Mayo North East and South West Mayo Development, also based in Mayo and are aimed at helping start up businesses.
This project consisted of designing and printing pull-up banners for the ceremony, certificates for the participants and winner and finalist badges for use in email signatures for all successful businesses.
In keeping with the colours of the SICAP logo, we designed the pull-up banner first, keeping the signature green as the main background colour on the design layout, with the blue and Mayo North East red coming through as complimentary colour blocks throughout the design. We also included many photos of various professions to represent the diversity of the businesses involved in the awards. The resulting design was both colourful and effective and both us and the client, Mayo North East, based in Foxford, Mayo, Ireland were very happy with the final product.
From the pull-up banner template, we then designed the certificates using the same basic design layout and a circular badge for both the finalists and the winners. The pullup banners were printed on banner material and the certificates were printed in A4 on high quality 350g gloss card.
